Walkden Town Centre has announced a pop-up cinema to celebrate Halloween during the half term break. Chorley-based events company Marvel At Everything has been engaged to create the 100-seat cinema alongside a series of activities.
Walkden Town centre commissioned Marvel At Everything to build the 100 seat cinema in just 3 weeks which Marvel At Everything installed with days to spare.
Wayne Taylor, Managing Director said;
“We are very lucky being based in Chorley as we could call on a host of local companies to help with this project; from local builders & joiners to carpet and signage companies, all getting involved to achieve a brilliant finished theatre. We at Marvel at Everything are a full service agency and also arranged the Media/ Promotion with a local radio station to promote the event to its family audience.”
Michelle Atack, Marketing Manager at Walkden Town Centre says;
“We’re excited to be able to deliver a pop-up cinema at the Centre to bring a very different experience that we’ve not embarked on before here at Walkden. Our customers can expect an enjoyable and unique yet cost-effective experience. It’s particularly pricey these days to take a family of four to the cinema so it’s great to be able to provide that experience for our customers for £10.”
‘Spooky’ family films suitable for all ages will be shown in the cinema from Monday 26th October to Saturday 31st October at 11am and 2pm daily at a charge of £2.50 per head. Including Monster House, Hocus Pocus and Ghostbusters. Tickets will be available to purchase from 9am daily on a first come, first served basis. Guests attending the cinema will be treated to pop-up retail stalls selling confectionery and merchandise creating a true shopping and entertainment experience for the whole family.
