As lockdown restrictions continue to change and in some instances, ease, it is of vital importance businesses that are reopening or preparing to reopen are doing their bit to comply with the Government’s guidelines to protect both their employees and customers. Government Guidelines
For the time being, certain businesses are required to stay closed by law, however, as announcements come from the Prime Minister, businesses who are closed currently will need to prepare and ensure they’re ready to open, safely when the time is right. With social distancing measures in place, admittedly, it will be difficult for businesses to ensure all who are present are adhering to the measures.

How We’ve Helped
Here at Marvel, we take health and safety seriously for both our clients and employees which is why we tasked our Signage Project Team with helping our reopening clients to be COVID Secure with a variety of signage. From floor signs to posters, pop-ups to vinyls, we’re proud to have helped businesses across the UK to be COVID Secure and help them reopen to their customers, safely.
Walkden Town Centre is one of the many businesses we’ve fitted signage for. They opted for social distancing posters and floor signs so their shoppers could safely adhere to the guidelines whilst shopping for essentials in the town centre.
Additionally, on the stairs in the centre are ‘No Entry’ signs, this helps the centre to maintain their one-way shopping rules, so there’s no risk of people bumping into each other.
In line with recent announcements of sporting places being allowed to open, the GymWorks team wanted to ensure their location was safe for everyone with COVID Secure signage. The Government have stated organisations will need to communicate clearly and regularly with members and participants setting out what they are doing to manage risks and what advice they are providing to individuals.
With the opening of Nurseries on the way, we helped Ashleigh Nursery to be COVID Secure too. With A1 and A2 signage, Ashleigh Nursery is prepared to reopen with installing a one way system for visitors and staff alike.
Another project we were delighted to be part of was preparing Euxton Hall in becoming a COVID-19 testing centre. Alongside all the other medical facilities, we helped prepare them install signage to ensure patient’s knew exactly where to go for tests and park their cars.
In our very own offices, we take the health and safety of staff and clients seriously, now more than ever. At Marvel, we practice what we preach as we’ve installed signage of our own to ensure if anyone comes into our offices, they know to adhere to the social distancing guidelines set out by the Government. We’ve opted for floor and wall signage to ensure the message is conveyed effectively to everyone on the premises.
